Johnson. Not perfect but much better than Trump or Clinton. His stance on many subjects is similar to my own. Don't know enough about Stein.

Donald trump, my reasoning is at its core based upon the ability of the president to recommend an appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. If Hillary gets in it will be a liberal judge if trump gets in it will be a conservative judge. It's actually quite simple, I prefer a strict interpretation of the constitution and don't think it's a living breathing document as most liberal interpretations espouse.

I'd vote Trump, He's successful and at least likes 'Merica! (Wasn't my first choice but he won the primary)
The third party guys and write ins don't have a chance to win and just siphon votes.
I wouldn't vote Hillary if she was the only one running, Benghazi, e-mails, and having lived through the first Clinton regime while in the service have kind of soured me on her.

Call me whatever, but I can not in good conscience vote for Trump, I refuse to vote for someone who is dishonest to the American people and thinks everyone should just move on from it and I believe that a vote for Johnson or Stein is a waste of my vote. I will therefore not vote the top of my ticket and instead concentrate on down ballot races.

Trump because Clinton is corrupt to the core and the truth is not in her in any issue. The third Party candidates don't have a prayer of winning and a vote for any of them has the same effect as staying home.

There are many things that bother me greatly about Trump, but he is surrounding himself with people with solid experience and he has shown the capacity for listening to them.

In the end one must realize that either Trump or Hillary will be our POTUS in January and there is no other option no matter what we would like to see.

I prefer the teachable novice to the career politician with a decades long history of corruption in every detail of what she does.

I'm what some would call African American. And I would definitely vote for Donald Trump. Why?
1. He isn't beholden to any special Interested groups
2. He has a proven track record or building a business, that has provided jobs for immigrants and U.S. Citizens that want a jog
3. A lot of Politicians on both sides of the Isle owe him a lot of money and favors.
4. I believe he really can bring jobs BACK to America
5. He is being Truthful about the immigration problem in this country and it's ties to terrorism.
And he could care less about how you feel about him. As far as racist people following him? The samething is happening on the Democrats side as well. A bunch of racist black people full of hate are no better than white people full of hate. We need Trump, not some Politically correct female flying around the country giving Blow J - - - to every dictator and despot on the globe.

I just scrolled down to the last comment in this post and looked to see who people would vote for and clearly there is a lot of support for Johnson whom I am voting for so the stated fact is a third party vote is not a wasted vote at all. why do we have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils? who came up with that reasoning and why? can anyone let me know?

I'm looking hard at Gary Johnson. I was a Trump supporter for a while, but if the man is intelligent, he's certainly not very smart about knowing when to keep his mouth shut.

Trump is a narcissist, when the veteran gave Trump his Purple Heart, he should have simply said "Thank you for your sacrifice and service", but he asked if the award was real (really?!) and said "I always wanted to get the Purple Heart". He had to make it about himself yet again. Being President is about service to the nation and to others, but he cannot seem to get past himself.

Hillary Clinton should be in jail, as you or I would be, for her many transgressions.

I would most definitely vote Trump. I don't see any other viable alternative.

I distrust Hillary. Both parties are marred by past transgressions. Ideally a third party candidate would be viable, and could very well could become viable, however I don't believe that will be the case.

We are in a bad way, and all we are left with at this point it feels like are prayers.

I would be voting for Gary Johnson. If youre talking strictly who falls in line the most with my views that is. Im a small government libertarian and believe that we need to start bringing our troops home as soon as possible, reduce taxes, reduce government spending AND size, end the war on drugs, and take care of our country and not Europe, the Mid East or anyone else.

I dont agree with Hillary on much. Donald I do but his trade protectionist policies are anti free market and the wall would be too costly for what it is supposed to do. Jill Stein is afraid of Nuclear power and Wi-Fi so thats a no go.

All the others running, although interesting, don't have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting enough votes to win. I consider myself a Republican with strong Libertarian tendencies and a reality based belief in strength in numbers...and the Libertarian party don't have the numbers. If I thought, as some people seem to, that an election should be based on things like race, gender, etc., I would still be trying to decide. But since I vote on policy proposals and on the candidate's stance on Constitutional issues, I will vote for Trump.

I would vote for Gary Johnson, while I don't agree with some key platforms he's against like cutting the defense budget, I do feel we need a moderate in the white house who's not extreme conservative or liberal. I feel as a president your job is really to mediate between the two dominating Parties, your the middle man to bring a bia partisan agreement to the table. While they may have their own achievements they wish to accomplish, Congress is who runs our country, and as a leader you would be far more effective in getting those parties to work together vs declining everything because of personal politics. I think Johnson can do this. Hilary and Trump are just wild cards, to me Trump talks a good game but doesn't deliver, and Hilary sucks at playing the game. Jill Stein is just to progressive for me.
