My dream car is a 1971 Plymouth Cuda with a 426 hemi! A little hard to fit 4 kids and my wife, but a guy can dream! For now I'll stick with an SUV and an economy car. What about everyone else?

The Oldsmobile 4-4-2 is a muscle car that was produced by Oldsmobile. Introduced in 1964 model year as an option package for U.S. sold F-85 and Cutlass models, it became a model in its own right from 1968 to 1971, then reverted to an option through the mid-1970s. The name was revived in the 1980s on the rear-wheel drive Cutlass Supreme and early 1990s as an option package for the new front-wheel drive Cutlass Calais.

Most everything I've seen so far would be more than fun to drive around in. However given my budget, this is the closet I got, because with my back, I need stuff that can do more of the work for me. While my Sportwagen is parked in the garage for snow, this puppy does everything I need around town. Yes it's Redneck, but it has a heater and wait for it..... SUICIDE DOORS!

I'd want a daily driver that can best be described as an "apocalypse machine" meaning the car from top to bottom would be sprayed in bedliner, beefed up suspension, rubber flooring and seats, think like a police car but just tougher and more reliable.

I'm still kicking myself in the butt for a decision I made in 1972 or 1973. I met a guy (my girlfriends friends husband). He and wifey just had a baby. He had a yellow cuda convertable and wanted to trade me (even swap) that for my 1968 Dodge Coronet. The Cuda needed some body work but nothing that bad. I said no and have regretted it since.
