No rest of any kind is not allowed during shift? Does the command not allow the CQ and CQ runner to trade off on sleeping? You are told in the regulatory guidance to alternate rest. Know your GENERAL ORDERS and the Special Orders for the duty you are assigned and always minimize risk. That is why you are on duty.
