Is it a mandatory PCS to attend the Finance Captains Career Course? Would high school stabilization extension affect my timeline?

CCC Question: I'm currently Armor but will be attending the Finance Captains Career course in Fort Jackson next year. I'm currently stationed in Germany and when it's time for us to leave, after three years, my daughter will be half way through her junior year of high school. As a parent pulling your kids out half way through the school year sucks. Especially so close to finishing high school. We would like for her to finish high school here but not sure if that's realistic with the timeline.

Could I extend here in Germany (high school stabilization) until she finishes? I was told as long as I go to CCC within 24 months of pinning CPT I'm good. Is that true?

Or, could I go TDY to Fort Jackson, come back, pick them up, then PCS?

Or, is be possible to PCS them right before CCC to my gaining unit?

All of your options listed are feasible however the best answer is going to come from your branch manager.

I feel you but.....

You could defer your CCC (if Branch allows it) but it will be detrimental to your career progression. You’ll be behind your year group!
