SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5370763 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was honorably discharged from the Army national guard and would like to go to active duty Airforce. I saw on Airforce.com that my only option would be Air Force reserves or Air Guard. Is it possible to go from Army National Guard to active duty Air Force? 2019-12-22T20:47:51-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 5370763 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was honorably discharged from the Army national guard and would like to go to active duty Airforce. That question cannot be answered by people here. It&#39;s not a direct transfer or anything like that, so you&#39;ll have to go through the recruiting process again. Not sure if they kept any rank or not. Your route, you&#39;d have to go guard or reserve, then try to go active. Either way, you are definitely going to be headed to tech school, because you most likely don&#39;t have the proper training to transfer directly over anyway.
