Is it possible to request a 91E ALC slot with a Reserve or Guard unit?

Possible to request a slot with them? Active duty has about 4-8 slots a year. Last class started in February and no announcement for next class date. Would like to get ahead of my peers.

I am not sure if it is possible to request one but I did get an ALC slot with an Active Reserve unit in Kansas last year. The slot was assigned by HRC and my understanding of why I got a slot there was that they understand that it is hard for us to get a school slot and they are filling as many as they can. I had three active duty with me in the class. When I called to see about getting a slot all I was told was to get my points up and set myself apart from my peers that is the only way I was getting a school date. Best of luck to you !
