We've established a political system that can be bought. I honestly feel that is a greater threat to national security than what the Russians are doing with their military. Putin's re-emergence and ascendency on the world stage. 2.) A perceived, and actual, power vacuum in world affairs by NATO and particularly its primary benefactor, the United States. In short: amateurish, feckless statesmanship on behalf of the Administration has emboldened even our recent opponents to spit in our eye and rattle their sabers. Beware, Europe. Beware, Poland. We may yet need to dust off the old war plans for a sustained conflict with the former Red Menace. Russians inevitably are a hard core and proud people with a long and violent history of survival and existence. We've treated Russia and its former states a bit kinder than Germany after WWI but there is still a bitter taste left among a lot of people after the "loss" of the Cold War. Germany after WWI took a perverted route back to a world dominant position in 20 years and that was back then. My take, they're trying to rebuild and keep us guessing, bobbing and weaving in the process to keep our primary focus diverted. They're seeking positive public opinion among some unsavory members of the "I Hate America" clubs. They're using old underworld tactics to gain trust and dependence and eventually build alliances and strength. What comes next is anyone's guess. MHO - Ally with China and that freak in North Korea, buy out our debt, use their technical assets to start a cyber war. Our current political administration and the entire house of representatives is corrupt and on the take to the highest bidder. The problem is that that system has made us the laughing stock of the world. The Russians are getting bolder because our president is a loser. My guess is that he is a puppet for the people that put him in office, and that is NOT the American people.

My wife is from Russia and reads the news websites from Russia and other countries in the area. According to TASS and BBC, Putin said on international TV that he is willing to discuss all the issues that concern us, but not with Obama, Biden or Kerry. He said that when America is willing to send someone that has a clue, he will talk. But those three he won't talk too. Said he won't talk to idiots, liars and backstabbers.

Putin was once a KGB agent and would like nothing better than to put the USSR back together. Obama is giving him that chance uncontested. Right now, Putin is cheering Obama in bringing those people back from Africa without restrictions. They are laughing that give it a year like west Africa and with Obama's open borders and America and most of Mexico will be dead and the "valiant red army" can take over America in a week.

Yes, Russia is re-aligning and waiting their opportunity to take over this country. If the muslims get here first, he won't have ANY heartache about doing to them what they have been doing to everyone else. Thus, I believe that all of Putin's posturing is merely a ploy to emphasize America's self-imposed weakness and to encourage others to launch their adventures throughout the world. If enough small players create enough small wars, the United States won't be able to engage more than a fraction of them effectively even if it regains the will after 2016.
