Is there an easier way to re-enlist without doing the pfa? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-an-easier-way-to-re-enlist-without-doing-the-pfa <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This may sound like a dumb question but I am honestly desperate to know. So I left for bootcamp in 2019 and failed the initial pfa run. I can admit I didn&#39;t do the proper training before I left like I should have. So now it&#39;s going on to the year 2021 and im currently still at home. Mentally I&#39;m ready to go but I have to pass the run, sit-ups, and push-ups before they will let me back in. I find myself procrastinating in doing that because I know I don&#39;t have a date and I have all the time in the world to do it so I just don&#39;t have the motivation. I would have more motivation to do it if I knew I had a leave date. Your motivation is joining the Navy. You realize that you did not do the proper training so correct that. It is ok to make mistakes, but do not make the same mistake twice. Provide us with an update when you can do all the required PT elements and are ready to provide maximum effort to meet your goals. Use that as a baseline to see where you are and use the weekly test as a check in. Your recruiting office is most likely hosting some sort of weekly workouts as well so engage your recruiter to get assistance with that and build up that support system. Once you know you are in the good for passing the PFA for bootcamp start working on your endurance and strength for the PRT and raise the bar. Again you need to engage your recruiters and use that support system SSgt Christophe Murphy Sun, 28 Feb 2021 22:38:41 -0500 2021-02-28T22:38:41-05:00 Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 1 at 2021 2:52 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-an-easier-way-to-re-enlist-without-doing-the-pfa?n=6785377&urlhash=6785377 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you want something you’ve never had, then you must do what you’ve never done. You’ll be motivated by different ways while in basic, but once you’ve moved on it’ll be your responsibility to maintain physically active and in shape. Push yourself. No one can do it but you.
