However, I have not read of a interview process on the HRC website.<br /><br />I am Army Reserves and not national guard (if that makes a difference). Just wanting to know what to expect, if I do plan on applying for AGR. <br /><br />Thank you all for your answers in advance! Is there really an AGR interview/board you will have to attend to be selected?2020-10-25T21:38:13-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6438602<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have read on RallyPoint of interviews or a board you will have to attend to be selected over other soldiers applying for AGR. COL who told me to have a seat after I reported as ordered he then asked me a bunch of questions for about 15 minutes then hired me, the sad part was they cut the job about a year later and hired a civilian, so I decided to go back active dutyResponse by SPC James Neidig made Oct 26 at 2020 12:46 AM2020-10-26T00:46:32-04:002020-10-26T00:46:32-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6439750<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Negative SGT Sheedy, only the national guard has to do the interview process. You will need copies of your most recent NCOER's though. If you have any more questions just PM me.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2020 9:42 AM2020-10-26T09:42:08-04:002020-10-26T09:42:08-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member6439773<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>To apply you submit a digital packet. The packet gets boarded and you get put on a list (Tier 1-3). As positions open up for that year, they pull from the boarded list (in addition to rank and MOS).<br />I was on the Tier 1 list the first time I applied, no positions were available so I didn't get picked up. The next year when I applied (yes, you have to apply yearly), I was Tier 3 and didn't get selected. I've moved on but that is how I recall the process.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2020 9:54 AM2020-10-26T09:54:09-04:002020-10-26T09:54:09-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6440740<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I came onto the program september 2018. There was no interview, i assume they performed a review on my iperms to insure my I's were dotted and Ts crossed. Was just the application on hrcapps, a job offer, some more documents filled out and submitted, duty station offers, orders cut and out the door.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2020 4:12 PM2020-10-26T16:12:56-04:002020-10-26T16:12:56-04:002020-10-25T21:38:13-04:00
