<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SFC Warrick is correct, the regulation term is advancement. I feels good to say promoted, but I have never seen nor heard of PFC (P). It's probably a SOldier who was told he is going to be promoted next month so he thinks he is "promotable". It's good for a laugh though!

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well, it all depends on how its viewed, a PFC is will be eligible for promotion after a given time in service, so by alrights they are an appointment, but they can carry a promotable status (P) do to a number of variables at the discretion of the units command, the PFC will never really know they are carrying the eligibility, unless it&#39;s mentioned in a counseling session.
