The ongoing public health concern affecting US and other countries has been compounded by a lack of localized language skills and dissemination of information about the virus to potentially affected communities.

I have volunteered to assist the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) with my language and other skills. There is a shortage of language skills for Krio, Mende and Temne languages.

There is a need for translating posters and informational materials from the CDC to these languages. If you know anyone who can tranlate English to Krio/Mende/Temne, please connect/IM.

A sample infographic is here:

Hi, I'm currently taking language courses, you can read the blog articles https://translatehub.org/category/courses/ . If I'm not mistaken, their website also provides translations into various languages. You can write to them and consult. Perhaps you will find a translator from English to Krio/Mende/Temne.

In such cases, it's best not to use machine translation. I have nothing against Google Translate, I use it quite often, but in this case, it's better not to risk. After all, sometimes it makes mistakes, and in this matter necessary to get an accurate translation. This source can come in handy for this https://thewordpoint.com/services/certified/uscis-certified-translations When it comes to quality and accuracy, you can be calm knowing that your translation is in good hands.

I think it's very important to get an absolutely accurate translation. After all, having such diagnoses, need to get correct and timely treatment.
