Last week i was told i would be getting flagged on April 1, 2023 for not taking a ACFT. Im currently on a temporary profile and cannot take? Can they still flag me while on profile? Can I be flagged for not taking an ACFT while on a temporary profile? 2023-02-25T19:47:22-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 8152919

I'm currently I'm on a temporary profile and awaiting surgery for a osteochondrial defect in a couple months. You, being on a temp profile cannot be administered a Record ACFT. Since you cannot be administered a Record ACFT, you cannot be flagged for an ACFT that you have not taken nor can take. Talk with Legal. In fact, have a chat with IG. The fact that your Command is talking about future flagging you for something you cannot medically do....that's just dumbassery Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 25 at 2023 7:59 PM 2023-02-25T19:59:00-05:00 2023-02-25T19:59:00-05:00 SSgt Christophe Murphy 8153209

I would check all the wickets before you escalate.

The short answer is no they can't flag you but details matter. What is the current expiration state of your temp profile? Make sure it doesn't expire. If that means running down your PCP to get an updated profile do that.

Who told you that there would be a flag? If it was someone low on the totem pole go up a level higher. If it was someone of higher pedigree go through your leadership and potentially IG. Now if your chain of command & NCO support channel are pulling some kind of shenanigans (it looks like it from here), then I suggest talking to legal or IG about it. Good luck. (A positive profile does not automatically excuse you from a ACFT, but most do....if you have a profile for not driving at night as an example, that would not exclude you from a record ACFT)

Ask to speak to your 1SG, and tell that 1SG you are looking forward to being healthy and taking your record AFCT.......and then........Eat right, train as you are able to, and recover from surgery with a mission mind set..then smash the AFCT. So, for example, if your profile says you aren't available to take an ACFT until 1 May, then you can't take one until 1 May and they can't flag you before that.

The provider puts on your e profile how long your profile is and when you can take an ACFT. I just had one for jamming my finger during basketball. I had temp profile for 2 weeks and then it also said when I was able to take an ACFT and that until then I was excluded from ACFT.

Also who told you this? Because they're dumb.
