Red - training only, no one can change the schedule; green - mission first, train when possible; amber - essential missions only can detract from training. And after the mission is completed collect feedback about what went right and wrong, then with the help of your NCO's plan to make it a part of the yearly training schedule for preparations of future operations. The worst thing to encounter is untrained and unprepared soldiers, being a former Instructor I know all too well training is essential.
