It's little more than a weak sensor platform...Response by LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow made Apr 2 at 2015 10:30 AM2015-04-02T10:30:44-04:002015-04-02T10:30:44-04:00SCPO David Lockwood567478<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think we need this platform just for its ability to change missions in a matter of weeks. This flexibility is unmatched and should save $$$$$$ when this program is fully implemented.Response by SCPO David Lockwood made Apr 2 at 2015 10:44 AM2015-04-02T10:44:56-04:002015-04-02T10:44:56-04:00SGT James Elphick567922<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think the program has met many needs simultaneously while saving money by being so versatile. However, I have heard the vessels struggle in open waters (though that is not their intended usage zone, they do have to cross open oceans to get to their operations). I think this is a case of the military doing multi-mission/modularity correctly as opposed to the US Army's modular brigade combat team which seeks to counter all missions with a single design.Response by SGT James Elphick made Apr 2 at 2015 2:29 PM2015-04-02T14:29:22-04:002015-04-02T14:29:22-04:002015-04-02T10:12:05-04:00
