Looking for other resources for jobs in the Louisiana area

I been out of work for a month and few weeks. I've put online applications in from Indeed, LA Workforce Commission, LinkedIn, and USA Jobs. I had run out options and don't know where to look anymore. I had one security job offer to me at Lofton and Staffing Services. They wouldn't hire me because the lady said that I got an attitude with her.

Chelsea, if it's getting down to where the rubber meets the road and you need something steady and something that has great longterm potential, Sam's, Lowe's, Menard's are all big on Vets. Another source is your county or Parrish Veterans' Service office. They oftentimes have "secret" job listings sent directly to them by employers. They do that to avoid the masses of unqualified applicants. Good Luck.

i know of a company that is looking for sales agents that are veterans to expand their business in Louisiana. I believe they close all sales and you just presentation the products and services and get paid $15/hour plus commisions.
