We do not need leaders in the army because it was an easy promotion. And just leave this thread as is and no more replies are needed.

But if you are not happy with your MOS and want to go to an MOS that you can make a difference than the 94 series is a great area. You have a lot of different jobs you can work in. But promotions are just about as high. I would go with a MOS that you really like and can continue into civilian life. If you are trying to get promoted fast than look into talking college classes. Just because you want to fast track doesn't mean you will enjoy the job(mos). My first MOS was 13P and there isn't a civilian job that requires my artillery skills, therefore I picked to re-class to 88M which is a truck driver. I would pick something that you really like and can get some educational benefit from it. I can understand why someone would change their MOS for one where they can be promoted, just don't cheat yourself though and only do it for the right reasons! Good luck! Most of the ones listed for specialists automatically promote to sergeant upon graduation. For example, counter intel and power plant engineer(? I don't have the hrc page available) are two jobs i remember listed a few months back.
Do your homework and then talk to your retention NCO. As with anything in life don't go in blind.
