Lost dog tag. https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/lost-dog-tag

I was contacted today to see if I could help find info on a dog tag that was found.

My understanding is someone who was visiting Vietnam a couple years ago found a dog tag belonging to an individual in the USMC. They have been trying for the last two years to find info on this individual with no luck. And they would like to return it to its owner or their family.

I have not seen this dog tag but was contacted by my uncle who has and reached out to me. I'm hoping to have the info on the tag in a few days. But I was hoping in the mean time if someone might know of some idea where to start.
Mon, 10 Nov 2014 16:21:44 -0500 Lost dog tag. https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/lost-dog-tag

I was contacted today to see if I could help find info on a dog tag that was found.

My understanding is someone who was visiting Vietnam a couple years ago found a dog tag belonging to an individual in the USMC. They should also provide NOK data and last known address. May no longer be accurate, but would give a good 'stepping off' point.
