Magic Bullet for Monthly Couseling https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/magic-bullet-for-monthly-couseling <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a little confused and can't seem to get a straight answer about this. I recently had my soldier's couseling packets reviewed, and the big thing they said was wrong with them was the fact the monthly couselings didn't have magic bullet statements. Now im a newer NCO so maybe I'm just oblivious, but what magic bullet would you put for a monthly. I was only made aware that those were for negative counseling statements. I have come to notice that counseling packets tend to be the preference of the one inspecting them. Whether it is the 1SG telling you how he wants them, the CSM telling the 1SG to tell you how to do them or any other combination. Its like requesting leave every organization and leader has a way they like to see it done. If i was told what you were told I would ask whomever inspected your packet what bullet they want on it. If they can't provide it then put the same one you put on your negative counselings. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 27 Feb 2015 10:46:45 -0500 2015-02-27T10:46:45-05:00 Response by SSG Christopher Freeman made Feb 27 at 2015 2:50 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/magic-bullet-for-monthly-couseling?n=501846&urlhash=501846 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Never heard it for monthly counselings. Always heard it for negative counselings. Seems a little odd to have it on each monthly counseling. You could always talk to legal and get their input on it. I would only recommend that after the NCO who made that correction explains why they need to be on each counseling. An answer of that's just the way they do it should not suffice. If that is the answer, consult legal. My big question would be: without that magic statement in each counseling, could those counselings be used in UCMJ proceedings?
