In the words of Skip Bayless, "I'll give you probably, but I won't give you definitely."

Lynch was successful once out of five attempts from the 1-yard line during the 2014 season, and he had been stopped on 3rd-and-1 previously in the game. It's not like it would have been impossible, but I will give Marshawn Lynch credit because he's perhaps the hardest back to bring down. He deserves to be called the best when it comes to the power-back category.

On a side note, Lynch was fairly open on the left side of the field following the snap. Akeem Ayers was shading him but Lynch would have been able to make a catch on a fade during that last play on the 1. Luke Willson was drawing coverage away from him, as well. Meaning, you only proved he could it 20% of the time. With the everyone in the stadium looking to him to get the ball, there's a good chance he doesn't get it and they get pushed back. Trying to score with the game on the line against a stacked box is not a given he would succeed. I know hes beast mode and it was two yards away, but they would have stuffed it with Wilfork right there. I ask would the line block the defense? However, given the fact that his atg yards per carry 4.7. 50-50 Response by SFC Stephen King made Apr 16 at 2015 9:15 PM 2015-04-16T21:15:54-04:00 2015-04-16T21:15:54-04:00 Cpl Tou Lee Yang 597640

No doubt Lynch would had scored, he would have had 3 chances to score. Seattle would've been Champion instead of the cheating Patriots. Response by Cpl Tou Lee Yang made Apr 17 at 2015 2:28 AM 2015-04-17T02:28:28-04:00 2015-04-17T02:28:28-04:00 2015-04-16T14:58:49-04:00
