To mix it up the Sgts thought they'd make it fun/funny and have a competition. <br /><br />One guy came up with gravity drills. Lay on the grass to a 4 count without moving. Somebody moved, so he yelled at him and we had to start over. I only think a couple of us fell asleep. Literally every step forward is a 3/4 step back.<br /><br />Then his friend (designated by the red arrow) is the Sand Deamon: honestly not as bad as its partner IMO because it is easier to climb, but it is like three or four times as high and at a much steeper angle.<br /><br />All across 29 there are many horrible memories but I think those two will always be the most memorable... i think sand gives me ptsd more than anything today.<br /><br />edit: Oh, they look much less massive from way "up here" so if anyone noticed that I arrowed the wrong location or that i am mis-remembering details feel free to knife hand me!
