PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5662948 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I PCS’d to Korea for a 1 year unaccompanied tour and will be PCSing at the begging of August to my next duty station. I will not get to my next duty station until the middle of August after a 1 week of leave for home, my unit that I will be PCSing too will be deploying in June so 2 months before I arrive to the unit, and I wanted to know if there is a chance that I could get deployed with my unit even though they will already be at the deployment location, and I also wanted to know about the dwell time of 6 months I have been hearing about because of the one year tour in Korea and if that will be put in affect for when I get to my duty station? My unit is deploying 2 months before I get there. Will I deploy with them, even though I heard about a 6-month dwell time AR 614-30 (Korea)? 2020-03-15T06:35:29-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 5662948 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I PCS’d to Korea for a 1 year unaccompanied tour and will be PCSing at the begging of August to my next duty station. However, you can waive that dwell time and deploy if you’d like. Until your cleared to deploy but the commands goal is to have every healthy soldier deploy. I met my unit in Iraq after a Hernia. So yea I believe it is possible.
