If I can't let my hair out then should they be able to let their hair down.New shave policy: Why aren't females held to standard off-duty?2014-05-09T11:26:46-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member122553<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If male Soldiers have to remain clean shaved even when on leave in order to keep a professional look (correct me if I'm wrong) should female Soldiers have to keep their hair and make up as If they are in uniform. Men suit and ties, women almost any type of nice looking outfits. It would be kind of hard having a bread at night and during the days be clean shaved.Response by SFC Rich Carey made May 9 at 2014 11:30 AM2014-05-09T11:30:55-04:002014-05-09T11:30:55-04:00PO2 Rocky Kleeger122569<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I agree. On the second day I woke up and immediately went to shave out of habit.. then realized I was wearing business attire. So, no shaving that day! Ah, small victories.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made May 9 at 2014 11:44 AM2014-05-09T11:44:43-04:002014-05-09T11:44:43-04:00SSG Jane Doe1335808<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Wow I got out in October 2011 and the whole time I was in they encouraged men to grow out their beards and such when on leave so they wouldn't be identified as military as a form of OPSEC. This is news to me. I personally think that men don't need to shave when off duty and women can let their hair down.Response by SSG Jane Doe made Feb 27 at 2016 1:11 AM2016-02-27T01:11:24-05:002016-02-27T01:11:24-05:002014-05-09T11:26:46-04:00
