The question is, will there be enough interest in a locally produced (thus more expensive) version to make it a viable business model. Heck, the bulk of Russian money comes from gray and black market sales, I seriously doubt the American private market is even a drop in their bucket. As long as we don't need to mass-purchase Russian made arms, parts and ammunition to equip another military (as we did with the Afghans) I don't see this as having much foreign policy impact, which does pose an interesting question (that Cpl Wagner implicitly posed) what is the intended impact?
