Notification Removed

Anyone else see in their "Your Points and Notifications" a bar that says "Notification Removed" instead of a point value and who did what to alert you? Does that happen when someone posts and it is edited or removed by them, removed by administrators, the person likes then unlikes your post, or all of the above? I saw it once, now I see it like two to three times a week. I am just curious or if it is just MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca or CPT Private RallyPoint Member toying with me.

Yes every so often. I'm wondering if that's when you thumb or un-thumb a response and then hit the thumb again. You only get credit for the first thumb. I've done that on occasion where you don't think you thumbed someone, so you do, then you see the count go down, so you thumb it again for the count to go up. Tracking?

Perhaps it is someone giving you a digit other than a thumb?

LTC Private RallyPoint Member, Let me know if you just got 2 notification removed messages. I unthumbed then rethumbed you twice. When I did I got, a message up top saying that my vote was successfully removed. I did it about 4 more times after that.

I have seen it a couple of times, but I just figured it was a up vote that was then removed.

This happens if a discussion you were involved in was closed or removed (most likely), or if a person who previously interacted with you was suspended or closed their account (less likely).

We will improve the messaging so that it's more specific and clear as to what is actually going on.

This happens when something is posted that is inconsistent with my beliefs. More commonly known as "wrong."
Just a QA/QC thing.
