And, female veterans have a higher percentage of unemployment than their male counterparts overall (5.5% to 4.3%). It's not quite as rosy as depicted. Post 9/11 veterans (especially females) are significantly more likely to be unemployed than a non-veteran. <a target="_blank" href="http://gallantfew.blogspot.com/2014/11/october-veteran-unemployment-statistics.html">http://gallantfew.blogspot.com/2014/11/october-veteran-unemployment-statistics.html</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="http://gallantfew.blogspot.com/2014/11/october-veteran-unemployment-statistics.html">The New American Veteran: October Veteran Unemployment Statistics</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> MAJ Karl Monger Wed, 12 Nov 2014 15:01:16 -0500 2014-11-12T15:01:16-05:00 2014-11-12T07:44:45-05:00
