Ninja Pirates vs Pirate Ninjas

With either, frag grenades, followed by a two man sweeping teams. Double tap anything moving. Ninja and pirate problem solved. Other options include getting them into a lifeboat and just put a large caliber round between each of their eyes?

The Ninja were basically the SpecOps of feudal Japan. They were not the black-pajamas-wearing showboats we see in Western media, rather they were specialists in espionage, disguise, deception tactics, and hidden weaponry.

Pirates were/are basically thugs on a boat with a bunch of guns.

What kind of question is this. Don't you know that pirates have been shown to be a insignificant wartime force. They helped Andrew Jackson defeat the British at New Orleans in the War of 1812. Ninjas have made no contribution to America.

I personally don't see how it's even a contest. Ninjas typically are associated with supernatural speeds/strengths/abilities and pirates are just... pirates. Cool, sure, but not ninjas.

Ninjas vs Pirates? Well let's see when it comes to Ninjas, it's always a quality vs quantity deal. The more ninjas in an organization the easier it is to kill them. Pirates hmmm which type are we talking about Somali pirates or Pirates of the Caribbean? The newer Somali pirates are better armed but not very smart and easily dealt with by our forces. So I say 1 Ninja (not the goonish mass of faceless disposable ninja) takes out Pirate's supply of citrus causing scurvy outbreak and then kills the crew in a swift action that eliminates crew.

Running some stats on the outcome, I find an interesting contrast:

25% more enlisted chose Pirates over ninja

30% more Officers (including warrant and ROTC) chose ninja over Pirate

Is there some officer secret we are being made unaware of at work here?

Or perhaps it is just that NCO Business is more frivolous and Piratical in nature where Officer Business is more serious and subversive? What is your take on this?

I live in Tampa. We have an entire day/parade/festivus dedicated to Pirates every January, called Gasparilla, so I may be biased. I love donning the whole "Lady Jack Sparrow" ensemble every year. Lol

In my house it is well known that Pirates rule the roost and with proper education/Brainwashing all my brood understand the significance of standing tall as a Pirate.

With Halloween coming up, if your child ask's to be a Pirate or Ninja and that goes against your core belief, will you deny the request? Would you influence their decision? Would you let them be seen in public wearing black pajamas?

Well I better toss my thoughts out there...

On one hand we have pirates who are are loud, crass, drink heavily, have cool swords, and shoot guns. When you need something blown up, they are the engineers of the sea. On the other hand we have ninjas, who are quiet, stealthy, and also have cool swords. The downside to ninjas is when you need something done, or someone killed you can never find a ninja. Come to think of it, I never see them at all!

As a 12B I must say I relate more to pirates than ninjas, though being in the Army does not allow me to sail the high seas, the low seas, or any seas in between.

Based on the Lego models I found, I say Pirates are the way to go.
