SGT Private RallyPoint Member 281754 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have the option to PCS to Fort Stewart or Fort Bliss. I'm from GA so all my family is there. We have done a good bit of research on Bliss but don't know much about Stewart. I'm in the Field Artillery so any information on the post and or units would be greatly appreciated. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Fort Stewart wasn't bad...at least 20+ years ago. The units were well supplied, and the post is nice. Hinesville was a bit of an armpit, and I doubt that's changed, but Savannah is a great town. Bliss is right on the border...someone else will have to chime in to confirm, but here in TX, Border towns aren't typically viewed as....ideal.
