Possible PCS to Fort Stewart - looking for general info https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/possible-pcs-to-fort-stewart-looking-for-general-info <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have the option to PCS to Fort Stewart or Fort Bliss. I'm from GA so all my family is there. We have done a good bit of research on Bliss but don't know much about Stewart. I'm in the Field Artillery so any information on the post and or units would be greatly appreciated. It's my wife, my 14 month old daughter and my wife. The units were well supplied, and the post is nice. Hinesville was a bit of an armpit, and I doubt that's changed, but Savannah is a great town. Bliss is right on the border...someone else will have to chime in to confirm, but here in TX, Border towns aren't typically viewed as....ideal. SGT Richard H.
