This is GREAT news for the Department of Defense. I've been watching General Dunford as Commandant of the Marine Corps, and I'm most impressed. Nothing against GEN Dempsey, he's done a fine job, but I'm anticipating great things from GEN Dunford.

Whatever I know.. I think he is an excellent choice, What I am concerned with is when our Elected officials "GRILL" this leader because they feel things are not going smoothly enough for them, these officials who never had the "cajones" to served our country in uniform, but be advised... they have ALL the answers...

I work with GEN Dunford's cousin, a VP with Eversource Energy, and I am friendly with his brother, a Covidien Sr VP. His family has Boston roots and the drive of champions. Great to hear he will become the next CJCS.
