No guarantee here but you’d know a lot more than what you know now.

Are you in the IRR or are you completely discharged? That too will make a difference too. If you are in the IRR and your MOS is required guess what. You “get what you got”. If out and your line scores do not meet minimum requirements you will get whatever is available and the guidance counselor would tell you what that is. That is why you need to meet with the Station Commander and not the recruiter who’s job would be just to get you to the Meps Guidance Counselor for a potential position.

Without knowing more about your situation that’s all I can recommend.
Hooah??? Recently the only way a prior service soldier could come back in was as 18X (Special Forces Recruit). If they tell u it isn’t available, walk away and tell them to contact you when it is. Look the Army did not make its mission this year. A lot of factors play into that so as long as u stick to wanting cyber, then you will be fine. On the flip side don’t let them try and tell u well come in as this and then u can flip to that. That is a sham and they make it sound easier than it can be.
