Re-classing to avoid RCP

I'M CURRENTLY AN 88M IN HAWAII. MY RCP COMES UP NEXT YEAR AND I WAS WANTING TO RECLASS TO 15W. I'M PERFECTLY QUALIFIED AND GOING TROUGH THE FLIGHT PHYSICAL PROCESS. RIGHT NOW DUE TO HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR THE APPROVAL TO COME BACK FROM FORT RUCKER, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REENLIST AS AN 88M AND THEN PUT IN A VOLUNTARY RECLASS PACKET. NEVER HEAR OF THIS BEFORE. IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP.

The minimum reenlistment period for Option 3 (Army Training Reenlistment Option) is three years and if your retention control point (RCP) is next year, you cannot reenlist for Option 3...you are not authorized to exceed your RCP.

The minimum reenlistment period is 2-years (for Option 1, Regular Army). Do you even qualify for a 2-year reenlistment?
