"Recent Activity" section on your RallyPoint Profile...

RallyPoint just went live with a "recent activity" section on your profile.  This gives you a snapshot of what discussions you currently are participating in, your recent contacts, etc.  You can also view this on other members' profiles.  I think this has benefits when you are wondering how active other members may be or how much they have "positively" contributed to discussions.  Take a minute and check it out.  I am curious to see what everyone else thinks.  Thanks!!!

Thanks for posting this, MSG S. This new site update also lets members understand what they are receiving points for (and how much), who is voting your contributions Up/Down, and much more. This is also interactive, so you're able to click through and see which comments are being referred to in the Recent Activity listings.

It definitely helps with keeping track of things without having to dig through the pages to find whatever it is that you are looking for. If I could make any recommendation for the staff of RP, it would be to add a means of filtering discussions. I like to read posts and sometimes comment but when that discussion already has "umpteen" posts on it, it almost seems pointless to add in my 2 cents. I have also experienced that the less popular type questions get less responses and thus get lost in the stack. Just my opinion though.

I love this thread primarily because it gives a face to the vote. It also show who is doing what and when.

I like it, but if any of the RP guys are looking in on this thread, I think it'd be cool if it also showed when people responded to reply's you made on a post, such as this one! There's no easy distinction on site (without getting an e-mail alert) that designates when someone has replied to one of your comments. This often means just having to check old comments to see if anyone responded with a question/comment you might want to see. It would definitely make sense for a "recent activity" section.

I know I get notifications that my profile has been viewed. When I look at a profile, I kind of get an idea of who I'm speaking too. In the past week I had a lot of profile views so I'm wondering if I need to tone down my comments?? I'm hoping I didn't offend someone, of course I would probably would have heard from SFC Mark Merino by now if that were the case.

I would like to see a way to hide it. I rather use my profile page as more linkedin style. Straight to the business, those who are in any "trending" topic already see me there any way.
