It will also keep my mind sharp for my next assignment after the Sergeants Major Academy. Can you help out with that too? You are doing great things for the Army! SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 02 Mar 2014 13:21:29 -0500 2014-03-02T13:21:29-05:00 Response by MSG William Cunningham made Mar 3 at 2014 3:09 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/records-review-fy14-sgm-board?n=68637&urlhash=68637 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Here's my question: Why is this assistance usually offered (not you MSG Quick, just in general) right before a board is going to convene? Or why do NCOs seek this out right before a board? I want somebody to look at my stuff now.......long before I'm eligible to be looked at for MSG and\or SGM. Those outside my immediate area of influence look at things differently and can identify areas of weakness and COA to improve in time for the NCO to possibly make a needed change. I truly applaud your efforts and think more should offer the "look". I would (and plan on) ask more than a year out.
