Regulation for calling "at ease" or "attention" in chapel 2015-07-31T07:10:45-04:00 2015-07-31T07:10:45-04:00 Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS 856516 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You might check with <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="588083" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/588083-ch-maj-william-beaver">CH (MAJ) William Beaver</a> or one of our other Chaplains, however my understanding was that it was the "Chaplains" workspace, and as such generally protocol is suspended in the the main chapel itself. <br /><br />Pragmatically, it doesn't make sense to call attention while conducting services, etc. On occasions where attention would be called, the Chaplain would do it as he is the senior officer on deck.<br /><br />However, acknowledging the officer or NCO with the greeting of the day in quiet tones would not be inappropriate, if you are not interrupting them (or them you) from anything else. Then it is appropriate, but, I don't think it is otherwise. Not even when the Chaplain walked into the room to give said services.
