The individual pick up SGT the next month, with the old pt score card reflecting more promotion points. Is this even legal to do? By using an older card to "pad the score" for promotion both this SPC and DTMS manager have met all 4 elements required to be in violation of UCMJ article 107: false official statement. This is punishable with a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and confinement of 5 years. I know of a 1SG and their CPT that got relieved on the spot the moment it was discovered they were altering APFT scores in DTMS. It could cost them both a stripe and some money!
