Replacing PT card in DTMS for promotion points?

There is a spc in my unit who has told the DTMS manager to place an old pt card in which the score was higher that the most recent one , this is about a a year old pt card and we since then had records pt tests and including the one when the individual attended blc. The individual pick up SGT the next month, with the old pt score card reflecting more promotion points. Is this even legal to do?

No. Regulation/policy is clear: the most current record PT score shall be used for promotion points or any other favorable action. By using an older card to "pad the score" for promotion both this SPC and DTMS manager have met all 4 elements required to be in violation of UCMJ article 107: false official statement. This is punishable with a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and confinement of 5 years.

Both that SPC soon to be SGT and the DTMS Operator need to have their ass cheeks burned and their chests made a little lighter. I know of a 1SG and their CPT that got relieved on the spot the moment it was discovered they were altering APFT scores in DTMS.

NO- that is a reg violation and both need the butts handed to them. It could cost them both a stripe and some money!

To be clear, if that older APFT is not already in DTMS, it needs to go in there, every APFT needs to be in DTMS.
That said, that higher APFT with the older date should have no impact on promotion points, assuming all those newer APFT dates and scores are also in DTMS for that Soldier.
If they are not, those need to get input also.
