Should and how can one get a waiver for a post-deployment stabilization period? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-and-how-can-one-get-a-waiver-for-a-post-deployment-stabilization-period

I am seeking advice on whether or not I should, and if I should how I can get a post-deployment stabilization period waived. I want to PCS as soon as possible upon returning home to make sure I have sufficient time remaining in my contract, and need to know if I would need to waive that time, or if it is advisable. Waiver able by a brigade level commander. If you are trying to wedge in an assignment, recommend an office call with the BN CSM to help you work a waiver. Service Member requests waiver of 90-day stabilization in order to PCS with a report date of DDMMMYY
2. Service Member meets height and weight standards IAW AR 600-9 and is not on a temporary physical profile which would prevent him from taking and passing a record Army Physical Fitness Test.
3. Contact information is: email and phone

In addition to this, if you already have a report date, your unit can opt to send you home at 90 days from that report date which would negate the need for this 4187. If you DO NOT have an assignment/report date, you can't do this stabilization waiver. SGM Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 29 Jan 2016 23:21:30 -0500 2016-01-29T23:21:30-05:00 2016-01-29T21:20:22-05:00
