SFC Stillman G. 460431 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is my opinion, what do you think.<br /> Individuals that get kicked out of BCT / AIT for bad conduct (disciplinary reasons) or for injuries that were EPTS (Existed Prior To Service) should not be entitled to their GI Bill or Medical benefits. <br /> 1. They are not Veterans according to the regulations (must serve at least 180 days).<br /> 2. We should not reward them for being disobediant, or disciplinary problems. <br /> 3. If you had a injury or sickness(asthma) before joining the military and it gets you put out you probably hid it from people or didn't list it so you could join (dishonesty). <br /> We (military) spend ALOT of extra money on medical, counselors, and education for individuals that got put out with less than 180 days that honestly should not be getting it. It's another form of a free ride or someone taking advantage of something they didn't earn.
