Should Japan negotiate with the terrorist? Maybe they should because it may be their best option. <br /><br /> The Japanese Constitution prohibits them from having an aggressive army. This is the result of the United States and Japanese agreements after WWII. They are not allowed to operate militarily outside of the Japan as they are labeled as a Self Defense Force. <br /><br /> From a military perspective they cannot legally extract the Japanese citizens at least not that I am aware of. So what is the best course of action to defend their citizens?Response by 1SG Eric Rice made Jan 22 at 2015 2:13 AM2015-01-22T02:13:36-05:002015-01-22T02:13:36-05:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member433555<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. We should not negotiate with terrorists or even consider trading anything with anyone.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 24 at 2015 11:05 AM2015-01-24T11:05:07-05:002015-01-24T11:05:07-05:00SFC Mark Merino433798<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>NHK World (Japanese tv spoken in English) has stopped reporting on the situation since the alleged beheading.Response by SFC Mark Merino made Jan 24 at 2015 2:08 PM2015-01-24T14:08:23-05:002015-01-24T14:08:23-05:00PO1 Private RallyPoint Member434069<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>NO.
