Sure it should. I think y'all should have it mandatory for the whole of the Army. Then you could wear PT belts and carry yoga mats! LMAO!

Where will they fit the YOGA classes in? Between deployments, mandatory stand down for EO/SHARP/Suicide (etc.) classes, completing DTS vouchers, PME courses, weapons ranges........their dance cards are filled up enough as it is.

We had a guy in our SERE class who was able to put himself in a deep meditative state during sleep deprivation and, consequently, in the box. Drove the cadre nuts. Wasn't exactly yoga but it was effective.

Not such a far fetched idea, in the mid 90s when I went truough the course they concidered mandatory yoga and Icecream Fridays. The problams soon became apparent that the Icecream made your ass look fat in yoga paints and you could also see way to much "ball" movement through them as well. They soon scrapped the program but we got to keep the paints :). So it wants a total loss...
