The question is unanswerable unless someone actually defines what we would be doing if we "go there because of ISIS".
Absent any definition of the course of action to be undertaken what you have is a "Goal" and NOT a "Plan".
Mr. Bush had a "Goal" but didn't have a "Plan" and you can see where that got the world.

I am fairly certain we already have boots on the ground there. And no, I strongly feel thats a mess we need to stay away from as much as possible.

Unless we decimated the entire area removing all terrorist groups, they would start up again. The Koran instructs Muslims to kill all non Muslims. These are not normal people. Life means nothing because the afterlife they are promised is so much better.

COL Ted Mc
Sgt Pamela Ware - Sergeant; Might I suggest that you actually read what the Qu'ran has to say rather than blindly accepting the word of some "talking head" with an agenda.
You might want to take into consideration that for a substantial portion of history the ONLY place where Jews, Christians, and Muslims could live in reasonable safety (and without fear of pogroms and/or state sponsored theft) was in the Muslim world. That condition came to an end pretty much at the same time as the Pope promoted the Crusades as a political manoeuvre to increase the temporal power to the Roman Catholic Church and the effort to force "Christianity" (read as "today's version of the currently operative, publicly espoused, officially approved, dictates of the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church") on everyone in the world - and kill all those who openly resisted the rule of the clergy.
PS - You might also want to take a look at how much better off you will be in the afterlife The Bible promises you will be.
