Or will I accompany him when my PCS date comes? I’m a rank higher then him but he is about to become the same rank as i in a month, and we both haven’t gotten projections or orders yet. My initial instinct is to say that you will PCS when your date rolls around, but I have little experience with MACP Soldiers. I know it can sound a little weird but you’d be surprised at how many Soldiers think they are enrolled in MACP but never were. Ensure that both of your SRBs show that you are MACP.

2. He will be eligible to re-enlist first based on the ETS date you gave below, if you are in the same unit both of you should go see the career counselor together just so you’re on the same page. The career counselor will pretty much give you your reenlistment options. If you are within your first enlistment contract you may be eligible to re-enlist for duty station of choice <- - once more the career counselor will be the best source of information for this. Usually what they will do is send your top locations for reenlistment up to HRC retention and they may be sent to each of your branch managers to review and figure out if those locations can accommodate the both of you. Dual Military couples generally always PCS together or up to 90 days apart. The exceptions being a dependent restricted tour or if you agree to break joint domicile.

3. AR 614-200 has a section on the Married Army Couple’s Program, make sure to read up on it so that you are up to date on future assignment considerations and what not.
