Is it appropriate for the representitives of our armed forces to show support in this way? What happened to professionalism? Although I fully support the tata's (pun intended). I don't think it's appropriate for our uniformed service members. So who has seen the U.S. Air Force's support of breast cancer? How do you feel about it? 2014-10-10T15:46:58-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 272592

I was floored by the wearing of hot pink colored tee shirts under the Air Force's duty uniform. Not to take away from the support, which is commendable, but a military service is not the NFL. And a military uniform is not a sports uniform. I know of at least 2 units who's shirts are Pink.

For the record, my unit's shirt is the same shade of blue as the lettering, badges, stripes on our ABU's. That said, perhaps a wristband would be a more subtle choice. I think if once allowed by the few, there would then be too many different things worn by others for other causes or just reasons they want.
