If tattoos are not visible in dress/duty uniform how is it they "detract from military appearance" I can see how an argument against neck, hand and face tattoos can be made and I agree to an extent but I can not understand how something that can only be seen in PTs or civilian attire causes and detriment to the force. Please someone smarter than me explain this to me.
