Thanksgiving turkey - dark meat or white meat?

Happy Turkey Day 2014 to all our brothers and sisters home and abroad, especially those of you serving on the front lines. I've been there and stood my post during the Holiday Season too many times so I figured a bit of turkey humor could liven things up.

Leftover turkey sandwiches are better than the actual thanksgiving dinner. For that you must have white meat. And mayonnaise not miracle whip. Miracle Whip is for Commies.

MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca Given a choice, since I am from Texas, I would have brisket, ribs, and some Hill country sausage, but since my wife is still "HOUSEHOLD 6" I will sit down, shut up, and enjoy my white meat.

Last night we had our annual Cub Scout Thanksgiving dinner. My parents came and when all was said and done I sent them home with the turkey I cooked (we're having Thanksgiving at their house) because we had so much left over. The turkey was already cut up and cleaned, so my mom just called and said come over for lunch, I just made turkey salad.

I think a ginormous hole in the time-space continuum was just opened as I've never had leftover turkey prior to eating it on Thanksgiving.

Well I prefer white meat, unless we are talking about the turkey leg. If it's the turkey leg then I'll take that over anything.

We didn't have turkey this year. Our Creole cuisine was on point though.
