I think it is a shame that some of the shared knowledge goes away, however, I recognize the efforts of the Administrators in keeping the conversations professional, appropriate and on point. &lt;br&gt;I know that some of these were deleted due to information and phrasings that could lead to UCMJ if seen by the right/wrong person, and hopefully the benefactors of disappearing evidence recognize their mistakes and come back with more tactful and discrete questions/answers in the future.&lt;br&gt;I do wonder if the discretion of the admins focuses more on the errors of active duty vs. retired/separated because of relative risk.&lt;br&gt;Regardless, thank you, tireless moderators, for your efforts. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><p>I hear you Chief, I have seen many that I have participated in that had good conversations that were very animated at times but also were informative and thought provoking.</p><p><br></p><p>The funny thing is their are ones that are still in the open forums that were very close if not over the line of being disrespectful, makes you wonder how they are still around. I think some threads disappear due to someone possibly being offended or not in the supportive opinion of the posters or responders.</p>

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><p>Sir I personally have been try to get some of my threads removed, but to no avail someone finds it and adds more to it.</p><p>I kind of like to be more like Major Burns whom takes charge of his threads, but I really try my best to find a way to end it.</p><p>In one thread I actually put this:</p><p>Well this is the end of the thread </p><p>Thank you for participating.</p><p>"What you still here?" </p><p>"Go watch a movie or go for a walk".....</p><p>But to avail I get another SM posting a comment a few days later :)</p>
