But the Mountains will prove you have what it takes. Mountain Phase is much more physically demanding. This is a result of carrying more equipment while operating as a platoon. I thought it was the most physically challenging. This is where you get your Ranger Legs. I will say that many didn&#39;t think that Benning was going to be a challenge to the women attempting Ranger School. I was surprised at the struggle they had. I am one of the many that was more concerned about Mountains. This is thought to be the most demanding in relation to overall strength. We will see how this plays out. Regular infantry is arduous, 20 years of that and you will likely get a VA rating upon retiring.
