Traveling to Fort Benning, GA from Columbus airport any transportation recommendations?

I will be attending airborne and need to find transportation to fort Benning. Cadets are not allowed to rent a car. I’ve heard there is groome transportation and ranger cab that can pick up and drop on post.

I wish I could help you, 1LT Private RallyPoint Member, but I can't! In MAR70 I had just finished Infantry AIT at Fort Jackson, SC, and the Army just put us on a bus and we went right to the reception area where we were unceremoniously dumped into the waiting arms of the Black Hats! It wasn't fun!
I'm sure your experience will not be quite so traumatic!

Groome Transportation, they will pick you up and take you to their terminal where you will pay for your fare, then take you wherever you need to go on post.

Call the schoolhouse, I would bet they have a shuttle going back and worth on the Friday report day

Uber or Lyft, also Google veterans transportation that will give u a jump no pun intended lol good luck

Groome shuttle is about $20 to go from the airport to main post. There is also Uber and Lyft.

Any of the taxi or shuttle services will be able to take you where you need to go. They know Fort Benning and exactly where to drop you off so you can report. There also may be a liaison NCO at the airport.

UBER and save the hassle. Not too far a drive and if you go off peak is not too much money. Better yet do an UBER Pool and split the fee with others going to the school.
