Trump defends relations with women, calls them amazing execs . What do you think ? Does The Donald really respect woman or not?

Embattled Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hit back hard on Sunday at critics who say he went too far with caustic comments about a U.S. television news anchor, insisting no apology was necessary and defending his relations with women.

"I've had such an amazing relationship with women in business. They are amazing executives. They are killers. They are phenomenal,"
Trump is under fire for criticizing Fox anchor Megyn Kelly during and after a debate on Thursday night and when asked, Trump said: "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever." So what are your feelings? Does The Donald really care what woman think of him or not? Will this hurt him in his effect to become POTUS?

Sgt David G Duchesneau Yes, Donald Trump respects women in general but is more than happy to resort to name calling when he feels challenged. This is one of the reasons why I don't like him as a candidate.

I think he respects people more than most realize. He just likes to not mince his words when it comes to how he thinks. He just says what a lot of people wish they could. I liken him to the crusty Gunny that makes you think you are the biggest turd in the world if you even remotely fail, but is praising your efforts and pushing you behind closed doors.

Personally, I think Trump is out for Trump. He may employee lots of people, but to him it's a means to his own riches or glory or power. Trump is in it for himself and I don't think running a country would benefit "we the people" as much as it would benefit him. His donations to the clintons for the 2008 election shows he is an opportunist.

I'm not a Trump fan but you can't condemn a man for what he said, or in this case what they (PC crowd) think he meant. I would have inserted "ears" for "whatever" because that is what came to mind when I read it. It wasn't until I read several complaints/replies that I understood what those dirty-minded libs were inserting. The disgust is on those that read into what Trump posted, not Trump for what he didn't say.

Well, to begin with, Fox News started the debate attacking Trump and no other candidate and they kept attacking him throughout the night. Fox News knew from the beginning that Trump would not own up to supporting the Republican candidate, no matter who wins the nomination. They also knew that Donald counterattacks viciously and they played to that. I think it was a complete ploy to end his dominance. I kind of doubt it worked and it probably backfired.

Yes, we're all tired of politics and politicians, especially those who promise to end the "politics as usual" cycle and then give it another spin. So Trumps early bombast was endearing. Sadly he (in my opinion) committed political suicide in the debate. Debates have a funny way of bringing out the worst, don't they?

So, would I want a President who might launch a verbal attack on an ally if he doesn't get his way? The President is the leading politician for the country which means he/she needs to be politically correct in many cases to be diplomatically successful. Would Trump isolate us further in the eyes of the world? I think so based on his current disregard of normal behavior. For those who think his disregard for political correctness is what we need in today's world you may be right - but if his arrogant approach get us into war, its the military that pays the price (and may do so with little help from the allies he has offended). In my view, he is not worth the risk. Just my humble opinion.

Like any large ego, he respects those who help him progress and dismisses those who don't. He has no tolerance for whiners or buffoons (by his definition). He tends to bombast out what over half the candidates are thinking but are too PC or afraid to say it themselves. There's a lot of over reaction out there that makes it hard to see what value or lack thereof The Donald brings to the table. Fox should be thanking him greatly for their record ratings for if he wasn't there, it would have been a tie with Cupcake Wars. BTW Carly is a Donald who gets it.

You can tell he respects women on his Celebrity Apprentice program. What is clear is that he isn't afraid to express disdain for people of any gender. Turning it into a mysogenistic discussion is inaccuate.
