I'm surprised they even are in NATO any more. France used to be the country that most acted against us but now Turkey has taken that crown from them. The issues with the Kurds and Turkey has raged for decades. Parts of what are now Turkey and Iraq were once Kurdistan, but when the European powers left the Middle East, they formed borders and countries without any consideration of traditional ethnic groups which has helped keep the region very unstable.
