They know people are looking and if you get an email with the promise of employment you may be quicker to react than if you got an email from the crowned prince of some country who needs your help getting his millions of dollars out of the country before the rebels take over the banks. I have received phone calls from people telling me they work for the U.S Dept of Treasury and that I have been randomly selected to receive a loan (that I DONT have to pay back?????) of 30k, all I need to do is give them 270 dollars and my credit card number and they will deposit the so called loan into my account via the card number... SERIOUSLY????? The vast majority use phone numbers that have been disconnected or no longer in service. Most come from Africa for this type of fraud. Another type that is by far worse is a small electronic device that fits into a back pack and can read your plastic as they walk by you, you dont have to have your plastic our or anything, then they simply link said device onto their PC and have your account numbers, card numbers and destroy your life, a similar device was introduced a few years back from Russia in Germany that can read your info from a cell phone or your Lap Top/ Tablet from over 200 meters away. There are too many loopholes with the system to the point it eventually comes down to "who you know" which is a sad start for our veterans out there with tremendous skills, expertise, and values.
